People often ask me "WHAT KIND OF CALCULATOR SHOULD A HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT BUY?" I strongly recommend the TI-84 Plus or the TI-84 Plus Silver Edition. They are both very capable calculators that will serve students well for years to come.
